Bio

Brent Green, Ph.D.

 

Brent Green has over 18 years experience improving organization performance using management, organization development, training, team development, and executive leader coaching. He has served as both an internal and external consultant and manager in a broad variety of national and global organizations including financial, manufacturing, distribution-pharmaceutical, government, healthcare, and others.

 

He is a strategic partner and consensus builder who has designed, implemented, and evaluated senior executives, teams, and system-wide solutions which resulted in large scale cost savings, business process improvements, and marketplace success. Dr. Green is former Director of Training for Kaiser Permanente, past Director of Organization Development for The American Management Association International, and recently Director of Organization Effectiveness for McKesson, a Fortune 31 enterprise.

 

His experience includes the design, delivery, and evaluation of numerous executive, manager, and frontline employee programs to improve performance. He has designed corporate leadership Assessment Centers, and Executive Scenario Team Building sessions for global companies. He also implemented the first corporate survey of 22,000 employees for a global company, which resulted in actionable feedback to improve retention, reduce conflict, and increase operational effectiveness. His training experience includes the design and delivery of Career Development, Customer Service Skills, Time Management, Stress Management, Leadership Coaching, Meeting Management, Performance Management, Executive Presentation Skills, Organization Change, and others. He has trained over 8,000 workshop participants throughout his career.

 

A noted presenter at national and international professional association meetings he was a group facilitator in training needs assessment at a United Nations World Assembly in Vienna. Dr. Green completed his Master’s Degree in administration from UC-Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in organization psychology. He has taught at the University of Wisconsin and been an adjunct professor at other Universities.

 

Brent holds 14 publications in professional journals including Harvard Business Review on topics ranging from consultation skills to training effectiveness, organization change, leadership development, the effectiveness of 360-degree feedback for senior executive leaders and other topics. Dr. Green is also a life-long tennis player and hiker.
